One Thousand Days with SIRIUS is an account of life and work with the military Sirius Sledge Patrol in North-East Greenland: the author's recollections of his three years working for the patrol. Stories of humour, hardship, life, and travel in a spectacular and harsh landscape - the largest national park in the world.
It is the only book in English written by a former member of the patrol. The book is richly illustrated.
